Code of Conduct

General Conduct:

  • Students must maintain discipline, decorum, and dignity within the college premises.
  • Students are expected to be polite, respectful, and courteous towards teachers, nonteaching staff, peers, and visitors.
  • Any form of harassment, bullying, ragging, or discrimination is strictly prohibited.
  • Student should cultivate the habit of reading notices displayed on the college noticeboards on campus. Ignorance of any notice thus displayed will not be accepted as an excuse for failing to comply with it.

Academic Responsibilities:

  • Students must attend all classes, seminars, workshops, and practice teaching sessions regularly and punctually.
  • Assignments, projects, and practical work must be completed and submitted within the stipulated time frame.
  • Any form of cheating, copying, or plagiarism in academic work is strictly forbidden.

Attendance and Punctuality:

  • A minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory to appear in examinations.
  • Late arrival or unauthorized absence will be viewed seriously and may affect internal


Dress Code:

  • Students should wear Salwar Suit, Sarees only. Leggings/Jeans are not allowed.
  • Students should wear decent and appropriate attire in accordance with the professional standards of a teacher-training institution.
  • Identity cards must be worn at all times inside the campus.

Behavior in College Premises:

  • Students should refrain from using mobile phones during classes and practical sessions unless permitted by faculty for academic purposes.
  • Cleanliness must be maintained in classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and the campus.
  • Damage to college property will lead to strict disciplinary action and compensation.

Library & ICT Usage:

  • Maintain silence in the library and respect its rules and regulations.
  • Misuse of internet or technology for non-academic purposes within the college premises is prohibited.

 

Practice Teaching / Internship:

  • Students must adhere strictly to the guidelines provided by the respective schools during practice teaching or internship.
  • Professional ethics, punctuality, and regularity are mandatory during this period.

 

Prohibited Activities:

  • Smoking, alcohol, drugs, and any intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited within the college premises.
  • Political activities, unauthorized gatherings, and protests inside the campus without prior approval are not allowed.
  • Ragging is a criminal offence. It is punishable and strictly prohibited. If any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the authority, the concerned student shall be given liberty to explain and if his/her explanation is not found satisfactory, the authority would expel him/her from the institution. He/ She will not be given certificate of good conduct.

 

Social Media & Public Conduct:

  • Students must not engage in any behavior on social media that can harm the reputation of the college, teachers, or peers.
  • Participation in any unlawful activity inside or outside the college will lead to disciplinary action.

 

Disciplinary Action:

  • Violation of any rules may result in disciplinary action such as warning, suspension, or expulsion, depending on the severity of the misconduct
  • Breakage charges in the laboratory and loss of books in the library must be compensated as per the instructions of the Principal
